john deere 444J engine crankshaft damper replac e at 4500hrs

Hi A friend of Mine just bought a 2007 JD 444J, Looking at the maintenance planner I see that at every 4500 hrs the engine crankshaft needs to be replaced, wow Anybody know the story behind this? thanks in advance
