621d lack of power i'm told

we went on a 100km round trip over the closed winter road to deliver freight and bring a sick case 621d loader to the Kingdom. first problem is the hanger bearing broke and ate the drive shaft but since it is a holiday monday and everything is closed i can't order parts until tuesday. in the mean time i'll whip up something so i can test the engine for power. any ideas on where to look for loss of power.
