I have a Cat 824F wheel loader with worn rear axle pivot bushings; what is best way to do this repair? Roll the axle out from under frame or remove support pieces and work in place. I assume the axle flanges are worn as well as the bushings. I want to do this job safely. Thanks, Terry

I have a small 2011 John Deere 244J wheel loader, has 2,000 hours, when does one replace center pin(s), im new to this type of equipment but always see used equipment for sale here and there and the ad may state tight pins, replaced pins etc. just trying to learn...thanks ahead of time

Cat 930G boom lowering issues
I have a 930G w about 7000H on it, it has no ride control, was an intermittant issue until recently. You can lift the loader arm all the way up and when you go to lower the arm it goes about 2 feet and acts like it's deadheading, it still moves very very little if you let off the handle and lower again it does the same thing all over again,with this problem it drifts while running or not pretty bad you can see it drifting down so it pretty bad. I checked the springs on the spool, removed the relief valves and inspected and found nothing, eliminated the joystick pilot valve by switching lines around the issue stayed with the lower function, I gonna check the cylinders tomorrow, any where else yall would look, steering priority valve? or something like that, its just on lower this is what confusing me, Any help would be great.

Volvo L120E EECU PSID 096
At work, we've got a 2006 Volvo L120E w/ a D7LAE3 that is leading me on a bit of a chase. It is throwing a code for the PSID 096 which Volvo is telling me is a lack of fuel and shuts off. I can have the machine idling in front of me all day and it's just fine. However, as soon as you go to work the machine, it gives you a one minute warning and dies. This all started after I replaced a engine crankshaft position sensor because it was throwing a code. EECU PSID 022
1) I have replaced every filter on this machine after this event started happening.The water seperator had a little debris at the bottom but I have seen much worse come out of our L70E.
- I observed that the Water Seperator/ Fuel Filter between the belt driven fuel pump and tank was only half full.
2) I also observed moisture around the belt driven fuel pump and replaced that too.
Volvo recommends that I start replacing every sensor on the fuel rail, injectors, and high pressure fuel pump. I cannot see a logical reason for dumping all of these into this wheel loader unless it actually needs it(A common price every time I call Volvo is $800.... Do the decals on the side cost that much too?). Any help on where to go next would be more then appreciated.

WA500-3 no boom down
Got an issue with my loader. Boom goes up fine, but will not go down until it drops into float then crashes. I swapped pilot lines around, disconnect the ride control, replaced suction valve, reseated float valves, I have 26 kgs at each spool cap as needed before it drops to float. 16,000 for new control valve, trying to avoid that, any help would be great! This is the German variety if that makes a difference.

if you should give your opinion between the caterpillar 994, the the torneau the 2350 and 1200 komatsu wa I am referring to shippers more big built on the market which you think is currently the best the more robust the more durable and better thought out? I naturally excluded the volvo jcb and hitachi because they do not build large machines so that they can be compared, in short you doing a referendum which would you choose thanks to those who will respond to the next hello

Can a diesel engine "vapor lock"?
Numbers first. Cat988H S/N BXY00384 Engine C18 S/N RHX00979 Electronic Unit Injectors.
Engine starts fast in morning but when shut off for break or lunch when restarted 15 minutes later starts good then after a few seconds starts stumbling bad like it is running out of fuel then after several seconds takes off and runs great.
I was thinking it was loosing it's prime due to a bad check valve but this seems like it would be worse after setting all night. Usually it is fueled up at night but as it was parked in shop to get new temp. regulators it was not fueled up yesterday and had about 1/2 a tank of fuel, less than it would have when shut down for morning break.
While doing some checking for the overheat problem yesterday I checked for active and stored error codes and there were none.
Any ideas????

cat 924F electrical problem
I have a CAT 924F that blows the 1st fuse on the left hand side of control panel ; it has the battery symbol above it. the wire coming out of the fuse is a yellow wire with the number 120 printed on it. The fuse blows immediately upon turning the key on. I would like to know what is on this circuit and where this wire goes to in the harness. Would appreciate any wiring diagrams anyone might have. 950g tranny problems!
i have a 2001 cat 950g that will not shift in auto everytime it shifts to 2nd gear it pops right back to first. when i do it manually works fine one thing i noticed when i change the selector 1-4 the 2nd gear does not show up on the display it still says 1st but 3&4 shows up. Has anybody had this kind of problem before also does anyone have a service manual on this 950g ser# 5fw02163 thanks in advance!

Allison TT transmission?
Help! I am the proud owner of one of those elusive Timberjack 1500 C loaders made by Eaton in the middle 70's. It has some transmission issues and I was told it had an Allison tranny in it. Unfortunately, the ID tag is missing. It looks like a TT from the images I've found but I'm not sure. Is there any way to identify it? If so can anyone help me diagnose it? It is slow to engage or rather it feels like it has an internal brake that doesn't let loose until you really stomp on it (It has a Detroit so that's fun anyway) and it won't go into second gear. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Mike.

Samsung SL120-2 questions/reliability
Hello all, I'm new to the forum but have been trying to research before I asked you folks some questions.
I'm looking at a loader (Samsung SL120-2) for snow removal purposes mainly. Small yard work for mulch loading but 90% snow pushing/plowing.
I don't want to buy someone else's headache but I really don't want another backhoe from 86' because they are too light for the areas I'll be doing. It's just getting too small for parking lots.
Are these Samsung's reliable machines? It has a cummins motor I believe. Hours are less than 4k. I'll sample the oil and hydraulic fluids.
Are the machines finiky in cold weather? It's been hard to gather material on them for some reason.
Any and all guidance would be appreciated.

LW130 wipers and heater stops working
I have New Holland LW 130. When turn on wipers or heater there is click sound and they stop working. Can wait few min and turn back on and both will run a few seconds then click sound and stop. I'm guessing its a relay somewhere. But didnt know if there was a known problem for this model or not. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

That was last week and it looks like it has done the same thing again,
